I received 1098 for my mortgage interest and in box 5 there is “Real estate tax paid”. is that Tax deductible too? or I can only deduct box 1 mortgage interst payment?

All active or earned income from employment and business are subjected to income tax.

Do passive income from real estate and stock and direct selling business / MLM subjected to income tax?

Note:
Forget about stock and real estate capital gain tax because there is none in Malaysia.
