Joe Crebbens asked:

From libertyzone.com:

“Read the 10 Planks of The Communist Manifesto to discover the truth and learn how to know your enemy…

…Karl Marx in creating the Communist Manifesto designed these planks AS A TEST to determine whether a society has become communist or not. If they are all in effect and in force, then the people ARE practicing communists.”

Plank 3: Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

“Americans call it Federal & State estate Tax (1916); or reformed Probate Laws, and limited inheritance via arbitrary inheritance tax statutes.”

Have liberals accepted Communism as a way of life? Really, I think they’ve pretty much adapted all 10 planks, which are listed here:

http://www.libertyzone.com/Communist-Manifesto-Planks.html

CreaitionCrusher5000: No, it does not take away “all” inheritance rights AT THIS PRESENT TIME because you have to boil a frog slowly or he’ll jump out of the pot, so to speak. Once it starts, however, the liberals will gradually seek more and more and more until the “all” becomes a reality. Hence, it is YOUR argument that fails, not mine. Thanks.

Ilmari_Karjalainen asked:

(My state didn’t repeal estate tax for 2010.) The answer’s probably obvious but I can’t find it anywhere. If a decedent has land with FMV of $ 10 in 2010 and they paid $ 2 when they bought it in 1970, is the amount that’s includible in their gross estate $ 10 or $ 8? It seems like $ 8 is the obvious answer, otherwise it’s a double taxation in a way. I just can’t find the answer spelled out anywhere. Many thanks in advance.

When you die, game over. Can’t take it with you.

Use the money to pay down debt. And this would allow us to test conservative ideas that hard work will take care of you.,
With all people starting as equals, we would soon see who is who.

ashcam asked:

My father lives in a house that we own, but he pays the utilities and taxes, do we have to pay taxes in the event of his death? He was told yes and he was also told he could not claim the taxes on the house because he is not the owner. This makes no sense.

Guy Difranco asked:

A elderly man who has one nephew and 3 nieces dies and leaves his primary residence to his one nephew by way of his written will. The nephew is also the executor of the estate. The nephew sells the property and splits the proceeds 4 ways sharing equally with the 3 nieces. What if any tax implications are there for the 3 nieces?

Usually, new taxes are imposed for new programs. So when the estate tax was started, which programs was it intended to fund?

do they have any proof of this, or are they just pulling “facts” out of their rear-ends?
So far, there has been no actual proof of family farms or small businesses being lost to the estate tax provided by any answerer.
If you are going to spout the lie, you’d better be able to back it up…
